A string of vulnerabilities have been found in Windows 10 as of 08-2019 that sounds really, really bad, make sure you get patched up ASAP!!!

Check it out, this is from the MS Gods themselves …

“This vulnerability is pre-authentication and requires no user interaction,” reads Microsoft’s description of the four vulnerabilities (CVE-2019-1181, CVE-2019-1182, CVE-2019-1222, and CVE-2019-122). “An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could execute arbitrary code on the target system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights.”

Windows 10: Create File Of Specific Size

So today, I was wanting to do some file transfer speed testing and therefore wanted to have a file of a specific size (the contents of the file were unimportant, just the size) to use as my test file for bench-marking transfers. I couldn’t remember the best way to create such a file on Windows (I’m a UNIX/Linux guy after all) so I did some searching and found a great article that not only gave clear instructions on how to do this very thing via command line, but also linked to two nice utilities that made it much easier and added cool options to boot.
